Student Leadership

Student leadership helps young people find their voices, participate in decision-making, and understand their rights and responsibilities as active citizens. It helps students have an impact on their learning and school environment and prepares them to participate meaningfully in their community.

Students can be leaders in the classroom, through their actions, through their support for others, or their involvement in academic, sporting, cultural or local community events or projects.

Student Representative Council

The Student Representative Council is composed of students from Years 7 to 12 who are elected to represent the interests of their year group.

Representatives speak on student related issues at year meetings and run our whole school assemblies. The SRC is able to put forward their plans, initiaitives and events to the School Executive for consideration.

School Captains are elected by the senior student body (Years 10 and 11) and successful candidates are appointed throughout their HSC year.
