Over the last few months negotiations have taken place with many stakeholders within the Warilla High School community to discuss the possible influences of student devices for students at Warilla High School and the impact of students bringing their own devices to school.
It is the recommendation of Warilla High School that Google Chromebooks be the preferred device that students can use in the classroom. However, for those students that already have a device or wish to purchase a more expensive device you are welcome to do so.
To assist parents/ Carers with getting value for money when purchasing a Chromebook, we have called upon the assistance of JB Hifi to offer a range of devices at a reduced price.
JB Hifi offer 4 different Chromebook models starting at $315 as well as a range of accessories, extended warranties and most importantly a range of payment options to suit family needs. Using the portal is straightforward and once the order is placed the laptop will be available for pick up at the Shellharbour JB Hi fi store.
Warilla High School offers this portal as an option only and we encourage families to shop around for the best deal, however, the prices and device selection available through the portal offer some devices not available to the public.

When visiting the site to compare devices you do not have to purchase on the first instance. Simply select the options you would like to purchase and get your total, then compare the price with other stores.
Also keep an eye out for specials on accessories like carry cases, usb drives and any accessories that may be on sale especially towards end of financial year sales.
We will be displaying the devices and answering questions during parent teacher nights and subject selections evening throughout this year.
